Safe + Sound Steam Inhaler

Safe and Sound Health’s Manual Steam Inhaler Cup provides a natural and effective treatment for many common ailments and symptoms of illness, such as colds, coughs and blocked sinuses. Just add hot (not boiling) water to the steam inhaler cup to help loosen mucus and catarrh.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This product does not self generate steam nor does it produce a volume of noticeable steam like an electric version or a vaporizer would. It requires using very hot (but not boiling water) from a kettle. Typically most effective around 80-85 degrees celsius. It then produces a subtle (and barely visible) gentle steam that works well with an inhalant or aromatic oil. 

The manual steam inhaler cup comes with a flexible nasal mask attachment to help direct steam towards the nasal passage. As well as relieving symptoms of coughs and cold, steam inhalers can be used for relaxation when used with additional essential and aromatic oils.

Instructions

To use Safe and Sound Health’s Steam Inhaler for the treatment of coughs, colds, block sinuses and head flu:

1. Twist the open the lid of the Steam Inhaler and remove the flexible nose component from the beaker

2. Fill the beaker to about halfway with hot (but not boiling) water

3. Add droplets of inhalant or aromatic oil if using, and twist the lid back on securely

4. Always ensure that the lid is securely twisted back on the beaker before use

5. Place the flexible nose component on the lid, ensuring that the small ventilation hole on the lid is at the top, away from your face

6. Inhale the steam carefully and slowly

7. Repeat as required

Steam Inhaler cleaning instructions

1. Wash all three components in warm soapy water to remove all traces of any inhalant or oil residue

2. Suitable to use in a dishwasher (Not the flexible nose compartment)
