Had a change of heart? Majority of the products have 7 to 30 day change of mind return, unless stated otherwise. The return process is easy. Just reach out to our customer care team and you will be guided on what steps to take in order to return your purchase.
Depending on the item purchased, these conditions may apply to be eligible for a change of mind return:
- Not used
- Not assembled
- Not damaged packed in the original packaging
- Packaging not damaged
- Include all unopened tools and hardware
- Include assembly instructions
The customer will be responsible for both the delivery and return shipping costs, of which are non-refundable. Additionally, restocking fees of up to 15% may apply to some items.
Note: For health and sanitary reasons Health Care, Personal Care, Jewelry products, mattresses and bedding are not returnable as they are unable to legally be re-sold. Returns of these items are only accepted when there is a fault with the product, it is incorrectly described or it arrives damaged or in an otherwise un-usable condition.

Depending on where the destination is, different delivery timeframes may apply. Did your item get damaged upon delivery? These mishaps do occur from time to time. If your order arrives broken, defective, or missing any parts, you will be entitled to an item replacement or refund for your payment.
You are required to notify us within 2 business days of delivery. In addition to a detailed description, please provide images (or a short video clip if more appropriate) of the damage in order to proceed with the warranty process. Once received, the item will be assessed and approved by our customer care team.

In addition to a customer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law, Payday Deals generally offers a 12-month warranty on all products, except:
- if expressly stated otherwise on the product listing – please refer to the product listing for the express warranty period;
- in relation to accessories or bonus gifts (as noted as such in a product listing); or if the fault or damage is due to:
- normal wear and tear
- damage arising from improper assembly or modification of the product;
- damage arising from abnormal use or abuse of the product;
- damage, wear and tear as a result of improper or lack of maintenance and/or care of the product (e.g. of fabric, leather or timber); or
- damage to external product packaging only.
- We will assess each warranty claim on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the nature of the damage or fault, we may arrange to:
- send missing parts (if applicable);
- replace the product (subject to availability);
- offer an alternative product; or
- offer a partial or full credit voucher or refund.
Not what you had in mind? If you purchased a mattress from Payday Deals, you must return it in its original, unopened packaging for a refund or exchange. If the seal is opened, we cannot accept a return due to hygiene & health and safety reasons.
Please note: due to the high volume of email and phone calls, there is a long queue of enquiries and whilst we are doing our best to quickly turn around requests, the current delay is around 5-10 working days.
Please do not attempt to return the item without our approval.
To make a claim, you must provide us with a copy of your tax invoice or any kind of proof showing that you purchased the item from us. You need to also describe the problem precisely and provide evidence to support your claim, and state whether you are requesting a replacement, repair, refund or credit.
Once approved, the refund generally takes up to 2 working days to process and will notify you once the refund has been processed. However, please allow an additional 5 working days on top for your financial institution to process it.
A refund or replacement will not be provided if products are being misused, mishandled or mistakenly installed. Customers are responsible for following the instructions and advice given by the manufacturers. Warranty is not transferable
