Product Overview
Safeguard your garden harvest and water features with this heavy duty bird netting, designed to provide reliable protection against birds, squirrels and other pests. Measuring 4.5m x 10m, this durable PE mesh creates an effective physical barrier for fruit trees, vegetable patches and fish ponds while allowing sunlight and rain to pass through. The included ground stakes ensure a secure installation, making it an essential tool for maintaining a healthy and pest-free outdoor environment.
Key Features
-
Durable PE Construction: Made from high-quality polyethylene that is UV-resistant, waterproof and built to withstand harsh weather conditions without rotting or degrading quickly.
-
Optimal Mesh Size: Features a 2cm (approx. 3/8 inch) diamond mesh pattern that effectively blocks birds and small animals while permitting adequate airflow and light penetration for plant growth.
-
Complete Installation Kit: Comes with 10 sturdy ground stakes to help you secure the netting firmly over garden beds, ponds or tree canopies, preventing pests from lifting the edges.
-
Versatile Multi-Purpose Use: Ideal for protecting fruit trees, berry bushes, vegetable gardens, koi ponds and swimming pools from debris and wildlife damage.
-
Lightweight and Easy to Handle: The knotless design prevents tangling and makes the net easy to unfold, cut to size and store when not in use.
Why It Stands Out
Unlike flimsy plastic nets that tear easily, this reinforced bird netting offers superior tensile strength and longevity. The specific 2cm mesh size strikes a perfect balance between keeping out pests like sparrows and starlings while ensuring pollinators can still access flowers if needed before fruit sets. Its dark colour blends discreetly into garden foliage, maintaining the aesthetic appeal of your landscape while providing robust defence.
