Origin: Russia / Plant \n \nClary sage is a clear to light amber essential oil steam distilled from the whole flowering plant. Traditionally used in beer brewing. Anecdotally an antidepressant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial used for stress relief and to improve circulation. Excellent for women during menstruation or abdominal pain due to its antispasmodic properties. It has a favourable herbaceous aroma similar to dried tobacco which blends well with lavender, citrus, sandalwood, geranium and floral oils such as ylang ylang. \n \nPure essential oils are highly concentrated liquid extracts from plants. Aromatic selections of plant varieties include leaves, roots, seeds, stems, fruit, peel, buds, flowers, wood, bark, saps (resins) and herbs.
