Origin: W. India / Grass \n \nLemongrass is an essential oil from the grass family with a sharp lemon, grassy aroma. It is a natural mosquito repellent and deodoriser. Anecdotally used for anxiety, athlete's foot, headaches, indigestion, muscle aches. Ideal for oily skin (back) and in muscular massage treatments. Analgesic, antiseptic and sedative. Blends well with lavender, citrus oils, rosemary and marjoram. Caution when using in body treatments: can cause sensitivity, grass oils can irritate. Not recommended for use on face. \n \nPure essential oils are highly concentrated liquid extracts from plants.
